Health Minister Fahrettin Koca shared the successful operation performed at the Children's Heart Center within the Konya City Hospital on his social media account.
Air ambulances of the Ministry of Health brought 8 newborn babies with heart problems from 6 provinces to the center. The team's race against time was successful thanks to the extensive facilities and experience of the center.
The message published by Minister Koca on his Twitter account is as follows:
“Eight babies underwent heart surgery in 2 days at Children's Heart Center of Konya City Hospital. Patients come to the center from many cities. Babies diagnosed with the disease are usually brought to the center by air ambulances of the Ministry of Health. We congratulate the team on their success.”
