The Health Scientific Board Meeting of the Turkic Council chaired by Prof Emine Alp Meşe, the Deputy Minister of Health, was held in a video conference format.
The Secretary-General of the Turkic Council Baghdat Amrevey delivered a speech during the meeting and thanked Turkey for donating ventilators and personal protective equipment to member states of the Turkic Council and for sharing its experience.
In her speech, Deputy Minister Meşe informed participants about Turkey's COVID-19 response efforts.
Representatives of member states offered information about the current situation in their respective countries. Representatives expressed their appreciation for Turkey's support and noted that Turkey's efforts set an example not for the member states but for the whole world.
The meeting was attended by senior officials and scientists from member and observing states of the Turkic Council.
