Gaziantep City Hospital put into service

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the opening ceremony of Gaziantep City Hospital. 

The hospital is built on a closed area of 680 thousand square meters, has a total bed capacity of 1875, 265 of which are intensive care and 30 dialysis beds, with 64 operating rooms and 335 polyclinics, diagnosis and treatment centers, as well as a parking lot for 4 thousand 500 vehicles. 

In his speech, President Erdoğan stated that approximately 22 billion worth of health investments have been made in Gaziantep since 2003. 110 health facilities, including 27 hospitals, were put into service. The number of healthcare professionals increased eightfold. The investments with continue with greater determination. There will be new openings. We will open Nurdağı and Oğuzeli State hospitals within the next 3 months. We will quickly complete the 400-bed Nizip State Hospital, the 300-bed 25 December State Hospital annex building, and the 300-bed Gaziantep Women's and Children's Diseases Hospital, which are under construction, and put them at our people’s service.”
