Health Minister Dr. Ahmet Demircan inaugurated the Büyükçekmece Oral and Dental Health Center.
Dr. Demircan started his speech by giving the regards of the President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım said that “Some people wish to go back to the parliamentarian system. In the last 60 years, Turkey has experienced 6 coups or coup attempts and each coup stops development of a country for minimum 10 years.”
Dr. Demircan added that in 2002, there were 160 thousands hospital beds while there are around 230 thousands now, and new hospitals are constructed and the number of the qualified beds has increased.
According to statement of the Health Minister, health infrastructure of Turkey will be renewed completely and Turkey has set an example for the world in this regard.
Dr. Mehmet Muş, Deputy Head of AKP Group and Member of Parliament from Istanbul said that there will not be any problem in the provision of health services in this region following the inauguration of the new health facilities.
Provincial Health Director Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu said that they care about the oral and dental health and the inaugurated facility will offer services at 54 units. He said that the Turkish citizens are worthy of these services and expressed his gratitude to the Health Minister for his support.
