Accompanying President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Health Minister Dr. Fahrettin Koca visited the Ahlat Seljuk Cemetery.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, visited Ahlat to attend the 952nd anniversary of the Manzikert Victory, and paid a visit Ahlat Seljuk Cemetery, which is the world's largest Turkish-Islamic Cemetery on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Tentative List.
Minister Koca accompanied
Apart from Health Minister Dr. Koca, President Erdoğan was accompanied by Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Numan Kurtulmuş, MHP Chairman Devlet Bahçeli, Minister of Family and Social Services Mahinur Özdemir Göktaş, Minister of Youth and Sports Osman Aşkın Bak, Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, Chief of General Staff Gen. Metin Gürak and force commanders.
Regarding his visit, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca shared on his social media account, “Accompanying our President, we are in the Ahlat district of Bitlis to attend the 952nd anniversary of the Manzikert Victory. We first visited the Ahlat Seljuk Cemetery. May the souls of our ancestors rest in peace. We will take inspiration from the memory of the victory for the Century of Türkiye," he said.
