H.E. Emine Erdoğan attended the World Cancer Leaders’ Summit organized in Kazakhstan.
UICC Chair Dina Mired, Ms. First Lady Emine Erdoğan, Health Minister Dr. Fahrettin Koca as well as 350 oncologists from over 80 countries attended the Word Cancer Leaders’ Summit.
H.E. Emine Erdoğan called for action for taking necessary steps for measures, diagnosis and treatment.
“We can alleviate the burden of cancer and the relevant risk factors through correct policies, and prevent half of the cancer moralities. People in leader positions must take action for adopting necessary measures, and providing diagnosis and treatment.
It is wise to prevent the problems before they emerge rather than to solve the problem after it comes up.
The mental and physical health of people should be considered in a holistic way. There is a direct relationship between physical development and spiritual development. In this sense, we are nourished from our roots of civilization and our Anatolian wisdom” said H.E. Erdoğan in her speech.
