Edirne 1st Criminal Court of First Instance sentenced the perpetrator of the crime of violence committed against two healthcare workers with an air gun and verbal threats at Sultan 1. Murat State Hospital on October 24, to 6 years, 4 months and 26 days in prison and to continue his detention. The penalty was increased by half because the crime of violence was committed against medical personnel working in public or private healthcare institutions and organizations, and by one quarter because the crime was committed against more than one victim. According to the law, it is not possible to reduce the sentence.
