The agreement on the donation of vaccination, medication, medical supplies, materials for Coronavirus containment efforts and diagnostic kits by Turkey to TRNC was signed between the Deputy Minister, Prof. Emine Alp Meşe, and Kemal Köprülü, Ambassador of TRNC to Ankara, in Ankara.
Deputy Minister, Prof. Emine Alp Meşe, was granted the power to sign on behalf of the Republic of Health agreements to be signed on the in-kind donation of various drugs, medical devices and supplies to 86 countries, including the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, in 2020 by the Presidential Resolution No. 2138 dated February 24, 2020 .
By virtue of the aforementioned power, the agreement on the donation of vaccination, medication, medical supplies, materials for Coronavirus containment efforts and diagnostic kits to the Ministry of Health of TRNC was signed between the Deputy Minister, Prof. Emine Alp Meşe, and Kemal Köprülü, Ambassador of TRNC to Ankara, on March 11, 2020 in Ankara.
A portion of the supplies were delivered to Fatma Barbaros, Health Attaché of the TRNC Embassy in Ankara, on March 13, 2020.
