Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu went to Konya after his visit to Karaman on Friday, September 13, 2024. Prof. Kemal Memişoğlu visited Ekrem Karakaya Healthy Life Center in Konya, and he chatted with healthcare professionals and citizens. He attended the comprehensive Provincial Assessment Meeting, and received information about healthcare investments and healthcare services in the province. Minister of Health Prof. Memişoğlu made a press statement at the Ekrem Karakaya Healthy Life Center and said, “We are in Konya, one of the most important cities of our civilization today. Konya is an exemplary city with its trade, production, agriculture, health, and education. We came here to see what we can do to make it better. Konya has a City Hospital, university hospitals and 225 Family Health Centers, and we will continue tu build new hospitals, oral and dental health, and training and research hospitals.” Concerning Healthy Life Centers and Family Health Centers, Prof. Memişoğlu added, “These are the places where we can consult and get information about all kinds of health issues, with their dieticians, physiotherapists, cancer screenings and where some of our diseases can be treated without going to the hospital and free of charge.” Meeting with authorities and healthcare professionals at Konya City Hospital, Prof. Memişoğlu expressed his gratitude to all healthcare professionals for their devoted work.
