Minister Koca said: “Türkiye's women received the indispensable right of democracy, the right to vote and be elected, on December 5, 1934. Women in many countries were able to gain this right, which was gained through a change in the law pioneered by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, years later, even through a referendum. December 5 is celebrated as International Women's Rights Day in our country. Because we were an example to the world.”
