Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Kemal Memişoğlu met with his Mongolian counterpart Munkhsaıkhan Togtmol, who visited Türkiye accompanying Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, on Thursday, January 16, 2025. Minister of Health Memişoğlu and his counterpart Togtmol discussed the steps that could be taken to strengthen cooperation between Türkiye and Mongolia in the fields of health and medical sciences. Following the one-on-one and inter-delegation meetings held at the Presidential Complex and the signing ceremony of the agreements between the two countries, President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa held a joint press conference. In the presence of two Presidents, 10 agreements were signed between the two countries. The “Agreement between the Republic of Türkiye and Mongolia in the fields of Health and Medical Sciences” was signed by the Ministers of Health. This was the first from Mongolia to Türkiye at the presidential level after an interval of approximately 21 years.
