The Minister of Health, Dr. Fahrettin Koca, the Minister of Interior, Süleyman Soylu, and the Minister of Family, Labor and Social Policies, Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk made assessments on the latest situation with regard to the explosion in Hendek, Sakarya. Following the statement, three ministers paid a visit to those injured at the explosion.
Minister Koca gave information about the conditions of the injured and said,"So far, 108 people have been referred to hospitals and 48 have been discharged. 60 people are currently being treated. Unfortunately, 4 people have lost their lives. Search and rescue operations are ongoing for three people.I would like to offer my condolences to those who have lost their lives. I wish Allah's mercy upon them. May Allah not allow such bitter calamities upon our nation again."

Following their visit to the explosion site, ministers paid a visit to Hendek State Hospital, where some of the injured were being treated. The three ministers visited the workers, who were injured at the explosion.
