Minister of Health, Dr Fahrettin Koca had a video conference with the health directors of 81 provinces to look over the preparations for Eid Al-Adha.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current situation in provinces, number of cases, the reasons for increase or decrease, diagnosis and treatment capacities and needs. Novelties in treatment, drug use, isolation measures and changes in treatment algorithms were also discussed.
Minister Koca reminded everyone that provincial sanitation boards had the power to determine and implement measures and that these measures must be strictly followed throughout the eid. Underlining specifically that crowding must be prevented in provinces where case numbers were increasing, Koca warned directors to not be lax in managing the pandemic.
Minister Koca asked plans for the eid to be checked once again.
At the end of the meeting, Minister Koca congratulated the eid of provincial directors and wished them a healthy and peaceful holiday.
