Minister of Health Dr. Ahmet Demircan inaugurated the 50-bed Durağan State Hospital.
Dr. Demircan delivered an opening speech and said that “Turkey is a strong country shining in this geography. But it has to be even stronger. Because no weak country can survive in this geography.”
Stating that mentality of the people should be transformed in Turkey, Dr. Demircan added that “We made very important works for our country considering that our people are worthy of the best. The number of the ambulances was around 500 in 2002, now it is around 6000. We did not have an air ambulance but now we have 19 helicopters and 4 air ambulances.”
The Health Minister further added that the state is owned by its nation and it is the nation who decides the governor and mode of governance.
Underlining that the Turkish nation decided to adopt the Presidential Government System on 16 April 2017 in order to stop the coups, Dr. Demircan said that there must be harmony between the President and the Parliament.
Dr. Demircan talked about the importance of the local manufacturing of the medical equipment and restoration of the health infrastructure and technology.
Furthermore, Mr. Nazım Maviş, Member of Parliament from Sinop said that “We would like to thank to the Health Minister for construction of this hospital in Durağan.”
Deputy Minister of Internal affairs Mehmet Ersoy said to feel very pleased on behalf of the residents of Sinop.
Lastly, Governor of Sinop Köksal Şakalar stated that “Health is undergoing a transformation process. It is a great relief to have such healthcare professionals even if it is not desirable to be sick and consult them. I hope it yields to good results for our city.”
