President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed citizens at an opening ceremony in the Sultangazi district of Istanbul.
The ceremony took place in front of the Sultangazi Haseki Training and Research Hospital, having an investment cost of TRY 501 million, with 600 beds, 120 intensive care beds, 67 emergency beds, 144 polyclinics, emergency wards, operating rooms and many other departments.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a speech at an opening ceremony of the newly-built facilities in the Sultangazi district of Istanbul.
“We turned Sultangazi into a modern district from top to bottom with all its infrastructure, schools, transportation and natural gas facilities. Today, we are opening many buildings such as mass housing project, indoor swimming pool and sports facilities, student dormitory, nation garden, Metris bridge junction and side road and Habibler fire brigade building. In addition, we are making official opening of the Vocational School of Social Sciences and the Women's Center, completed by Sultangazi Municipality.”
President Erdogan added that they aim to make more and larger-scale investments in Sultangazi district in the coming period.
Reminding that they will raise Turkey on four cornerstones which are education, health, justice and security, President Erdoğan continues his speech as follows: “Hospitals will always be open to all citizens. Also we have expanded the coverage of the health insurance to include many other medicines including cancer medicines.”
After the opening ceremony, President Erdoğan, together with the Vice President Fuat Oktay and the Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca, visited Haseki Training and Research Hospital.
