Deputy Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Emine Alp Meşe attended the award ceremony for the first 5 hospitals accredited by TÜSKA (Health Services Quality and Accreditation Institute of Turkey).
“This program is an important indicator of the health accreditation activities in Turkey.
Improving the health order of the community, increasing quality and satisfaction and offering cost-effective health services are the three basic purposes of the health system.
Accreditation activities have a global history of around 100 years, and in Turkey, we have been working in the field of quality for over 15 years. As is known, “Quality and Accreditation for High-Quality and Effective Health Service” is one of the eight components of the Health Transformation Program launched in 2003 for delivery of the health services in a more efficient and equitable manner.
TÜSKA (Health Services Quality and Accreditation Institute of Turkey) is responsible institution for quality and accreditation services in Turkey.
Our efforts have come into blossom and five hospitals have already completed the accreditation process, and this number, I firmly believe that will increase in the coming years” said Prof. Dr. Alp Meşe in her speech, and presented the awards to the hospitals.
