Minister Koca evaluated the agenda after the Cabinet Meeting held at the Presidential Complex. After he was asked, "Will a Field Hospital be established for Palestine?", Koca stated the following: "We have a ship hospital ready for Gaza. We have planned nearly 40 ambulances and they are ready for duty. We sent incubators, ventilators, and many small and large generators by 8 Koca Yusuf planes. Our medical team of 20 people, together with two director generals, is still there. We have made all preparations to establish 20 field hospitals both in the region close to Rafah Border Gate and at El Arish Airport. We are in close dialogue with the Egyptian and Palestinian Ministries of Health regarding these. We are waiting for security to be ensured and permissions to be given. Once permission is granted, we are ready to start healthcare operations immediately." Stating that the Turkish-Palestinian Friendship Hospital, built by Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency and gifted to Palestine, has a closed area of 36 thousand square meters, Koca said that Türkiye did not have healthcare professionals assigned to the hospital. Reminding that Israel targeted this hospital yesterday, Koca said, "80 patients are still hospitalized for oncological treatment. However, due to the lack of drug supply, the treatment of cancer patients has been seriously disrupted. All these are neither humane nor conscientious.” Minister Koca underlined that targeting healthcare professionals and cancer patients, leaving them for dead, and being targeted by bombs constitute a war crime and said, "Children cannot be the dying side of any fight. Patients and injured should not be the oppressed by any hostility. However, as the eyes are full of hatred and revenge, and the ears are deaf to all human cries, it is unfortunately very easy for them to commit war crimes.” Pointing out that all people remaining silent would answer for this in the court of conscience, Koca noted that the screams of the innocent would one day disturb everyone's sleep and demand their rights."There is no serious increase in cases of scabies" Minister Koca was asked "Could we get your opinion on cases of scabies?" and said; "There is no increase in cases of scabies that could cause concern. We have detected a partial increase. We follow the situation very closely. Our early warning systems work very well. Thus, we get to have the chance to intervene early in unusual developments. Regarding the issue about scabies, while the prevalence was 2.03 last year, it was 2.17 in the first nine months of this year throughout Türkiye. In other words, there was an increase of approximately 7 percent compared to last year. In the earthquake-affected regions, this increase was approximately 13 percent. It is below what was expected for the earthquake-affected regions. Therefore, there was no serious increase. It is not an epidemic situation. We can say that the increase has been slightly higher in recent years, especially in the Black Sea and Eastern Mediterranean regions."
