Within the framework of the Uzbek-Turkish Health Business Forum, Health Minister Dr. Fahrettin Koca visited the patients treated by the Turkish physicians at the Emergency Hospital No 16 and SAMPI Pediatric Hospital.
“On occasion of the Uzbek-Turkish Health Business Forum, we have organized the 9th health week in Uzbekistan, and completed, so far, 735 operations and over 3 thousand outpatient treatment services. We have also provided training for around 600 healthcare professionals. The Turkish physicians have made important interventions especially in the branches of cardiovascular, urology, gynecology, general surgery, orthopedics and pediatrics. We want to share our experiences in the field of health with Uzbekistan” said Dr. Koca in his speech.
Liver Transplantation Agreement with Inonu University
Dr. Koca mentioned that Inonu University would sign an agreement with Uzbekistan for liver transplantation operations and relevant trainings.
Following the speech of the Minister, the protocol was signed by the Rector of Inonu University Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kızılay and Deputy Minister of Health of Uzbekistan Prof. Dr. Abdukhakim Khadijibaev.
