Minister Koca stated that the diagnoses of 27 patients from Gaza who were brought to Türkiye have been made and their treatment continues. Koca shared a message on his social media account, including images of the patients' treatment processes. Koca gave the following information about the patients: "26 of the patients were diagnosed with cancer. There are 12 women and 2 people under the age of 18 among them. One of the patients under 18 was diagnosed with soft tissue cancer the other one was diagnosed with a genetic blood disease. 8 of the adult patients have breast cancer, 4 advanced stage lung cancer, 3 soft tissue cancer, 2 colon cancer, 1 bile duct cancer, 1 bladder cancer, 1 kidney cancer, 1 stomach cancer, 1 lymph cancer, 1 leukemia, 1 skin cancer and 1 brain cancer." Koca stated that the examination and treatment processes of Gazan patients continue at Ankara Bilkent City Hospital, and that their treatment is carried out by the specialists. Koca also reported that two patients were kept under close monitoring in the intensive care unit, considering some other diseases they have.
