The plane, loaded with medicine and medical supplies at Esenboğa Airport, took off towards Cairo at 10.45 with 20 expert healthcare professionals after the preparations were completed.
The medical team, including doctors, will carry out feasibility studies of the field hospitals to be established at El-Arish Airport and Rafah Border Gate, within the framework of the plans made with the Egyptian Ministry of Health.
Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca said in his statement on his social media account; "Our plane took off to help Gaza. The plane belonging to our Presidency, full of medicines and medical supplies, with 20 specialist doctors, has departed from Ankara to Egypt."
