The Deputy Minister of Health, Prof Muhammet Güven held a video conference with the representatives of the European Union (EU) within the framework of Improving the Healthcare Services Provided for the Syrian Population Under Temporary Protection (SIHHAT) Project.
During the meeting, which was attended by the Head of Financial Cooperation at the EU Delegation to Turkey, Andry Lys and EU representatives, the parties exchanged views on SIHHAT-1 Project, which will be finalized by the end of 2020, and its continuation, SIHHAT-2 Project.
The parties agreed upon engaging in much more cooperation in the near future in the light of lessons learned from the SIHHAT-1 Project and the COVID-19 pandemic.
