Health Minister Dr. Fahrettin Koca stated that the condition of the earthquake victims, who were injured in the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes and whose treatment continues in Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital, is getting better day by day.
Minister Koca shared the video of the earthquake victims who are treated at Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital on his social media account.
Mehmet Şerif Tansal, who is treated at the hospital, stated that he experienced the earthquake in Antakya district of Hatay, and that he was rescued from the wreckage 52 hours later.
He said that he was first transferred to Adana Balcalı Hospital, where his foot was amputated, then he was transferred to Başakşehir Çam and Sakura City Hospital, and that his treatment process was good.
Tansal thanked the doctors and healthcare personnel who took care of him.
Batuhan Berke Yanar, who was under the rubble for 20 hours in Iskenderun, stated that he had fears about his injured leg at first, but that his treatment process was very good.
Explaining that he had been treated at the hospital for three months and the physical therapy process went very well, Yanar said, "The hospital has done a lot for me. I received hyperbaric treatment. I am very pleased with the doctors and healthcare personnel.”
