Within the scope of 1-7 December Emergency Health Services Week, Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca stated on his social media account that the total number of 112 Emergency Health Services stations across the country has reached 3 thousand 402 and the number of land ambulances used in provincial health services has reached 5 thousand 738. Emphasizing that they have increased the number of emergency health service stations in rural areas to meet the need, Koca said, "As of the end of October, the number of patients and injured transported by 112 land ambulances this year is over 5 and a half million. We have 15 thousand 466 National Medical Rescue Team personnel who are ready to serve in medical rescue and intervention services both locally and abroad. We have 232 ambulances that can be fitted with tracks in order to reach and response to patients in all geographical structures and under all climatic conditions." Minister Koca also stated that they also provide healthcare services in winter with 21 combi tracked ambulances (snowtrack) with snow blades in front of them and added, “6 sea ambulances have transported 34 thousand 867 patients since the time they started to provide services until the end of October. 13 air ambulances in 13 provinces have transported 244 organs and 42 thousand 729 patients and injured from the date they started to provide services until 27 November"."Two air ambulances transported 18,959 patients and injured" Minister Koca also noted the following regarding the activities of air ambulances: "2 air ambulances in Ankara and Istanbul have transported 18 thousand 959 patients/injured, including 851 organs, and transported 43 patients abroad and 1398 patients from abroad to Türkiye since their first flights until the end of September. Türkiye's strength in emergency health services is indisputable. The devotion of our emergency healthcare professionals is admirable. We are proud of each and every one of them and express our gratitude to them on the occasion of Emergency Health Services Week."
