Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca stated that there was no foreign doctor among the Mossad agents captured during the operation carried out by National Intelligence Organization (MİT), as claimed, and that the foreign national who was claimed to be a doctor was an Egyptian cleaner. “While we are proud of the success of the Intelligence Organization, we have to respond to the lies of some people targeting the Ministry of Health. There are no foreign doctors among the persons captured during the operation, as claimed. The truth is that the foreign national, who is claimed to be a doctor, is a cleaner. He was released by the judicial authorities under judicial control and a ban on going abroad. He is from Egypt.” Dr. Koca further stated that the cleaner was hired in 2019 within the scope of the Migrant Health Centers project carried out jointly with the European Union, and no negative findings were detected in the security investigation carried out by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security before his recruitment. and that he has a work permit valid until 31 January 2024.
