Minister of Health Dr. Fahrettin Koca stated that nearly 50 million primary care examinations were performed in the region in a year after the Kahramanmaraş earthquakes, and mobile health teams served 802 thousand 715 people. “176 emergency response units and 34 field hospitals were established in the earthquake-hit provinces. A total of 590 thousand 468 patients were treated in these field hospitals and emergency care units. A total of 49 million 83 thousand patients were treated in the region in a year. A total of 51 thousand 665 injured people were transferred from the region; 2 thousand 580 by air, 48 thousand 758 by land, and 327 by sea.
