Health Minister Dr. Fahrettin Koca went to Konya for a series of programs and to make on-site examinations at Numune Hospital.
“What is important is to please our citizens, and be worthy of the kindness of the people. It is important to protect what is entrusted to us. We are making efforts to provide qualified health services considering the needs and requests of our citizens. We target to provide equitable and qualified health services for 82 million citizens. We are about to enter a period which makes the city hospitals health bases of their respective regions in terms of health tourism” said Dr. Koca in his speech in Kulu.
Concerning the 1250-bed city hospital under construction in Konya, Health Minister said that the hospital would start admitting patients in the coming year.
Dr. Koca also visited the District Governor of Kulu Ali Edip Budan and inaugurated the Ömeranlı Youth Center.
Following his visit to Social Development Program Accessible Living Center, Dr. Koca met with the tradesmen of Konya province.
Health Minister arrived Numune Hospital in Selçuk after his visits to Kulu, Cihanbeyli and Altınekin districts. He received information about functioning of the hospital that started admitting patients in 2018, and heard requests and recommendations of the hospital managers.
Dr. Koca visited the patients treated in Internal Medicine ward and expressed his wishes of swift recovery. Patients, on the other hand, expressed their satisfaction about the comfort of the hospital.
