Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca reported that 780 volunteers of National Medical Rescue Team working in Samsun, Çorum, Amasya and Ordu carried out drills against flood disasters occurring after heavy rain. Minister Koca said on his social media account, "780 volunteers of National Medical Rescue Team working in Samsun, Çorum, Amasya and Ordu have performed drills in Samsun, the coordinator area. The regional drills of National Medical Rescue Team, held every year, aim to increase coordination between the provinces. The Samsun-centered drill was based on the flood disaster occurring after heavy rain in Çarşamba, Terme and Salıpazarı.”
