Minister of Health Koca answered journalists' questions regarding the evacuation of the patients from Gaza Minister Koca answered journalists' questions regarding the agenda in the Parliament. Reminding that a total of 150 people, including 88 patients and 62 companions, were brought from Gaza, Koca said that they organized the bringing of the patients with the work of a coordination team consisting of Israel, Egypt and Türkiye. He stated that 48 out of 88 patients are currently in Bilkent City Hospital and 40 patients are in Etlik City Hospital, and gave the following information: "3 of the patients were in intensive care at Bilkent City Hospital, one of the patients was taken to intensive care after neurosurgery. He was taken to the regular room today. 2 of 48 patients in Bilkent City Hospital are still in intensive care, but they are not intubated, their condition is not critical, they are under close follow-up. We have 40 patients in Etlik City Hospital, 4 of whom are in intensive care, none of them is intubated, their condition is being closely monitored. 6 of the 88 patients in total are currently being monitored in intensive care, and the other patients are being monitored in regular rooms.” Koca stated that 4 patients had blood diseases and the rest were oncology patients, and that these patients were mainly oncology patients monitored in Türkiye-Palestine Friendship Hospital. "We are also carrying out activities regarding premature babies" Stating that the coordination team consisting of Israel, Egypt and Türkiye is working hard on the 3rd evacuation, Koca said, "The 3rd evacuation may take place in the coming days. As I also expressed during my meetings with the Ministers of Health of Israel and Egypt: We especially want to transfer the babies, children and the wounded people in the first place. We have agreed on this issue. Currently, a list of 50 people, mainly consisting of children, is being worked on. I think it will be clear in the coming days.” He explained that they were also working on the activities regarding the premature babies, some of the babies were taken to Egypt, and there was no clarity about bringing them to Türkiye, and added, "We persistently stated that we wanted to prepare all kinds of infrastructure for them to be brought to Türkiye. We are also working on this issue.” Koca stated that they planned to include the children under 4 in the first evacuation. In response to the question whether a clear date has been determined for the third evacuation, Koca said, "I expect it to happen this week. We currently have a list of 50 people. We are working on the list.” Minister of Health Koca said that the coordination team was working on how many of these 50 people could be brought and how many people could come, and that it would become clear in a day or two. Koca reported that 7 of the 62 companions were also monitored in regular rooms as patients.
