Health Minister of Romania Sorina Pintea visited Ankara City Hospital as Romania is planning to build a similar hospital in Constanza. Deputy Minister of Health Halil Eldemir accompanied the Romanian Minister.
Health Minister Sorina Pintea came to Turkey on the occasion of the 2nd International Traditional and Complementary Medicine Congress, and visited Ankara City Hospital. After a brief presentation about the hospital, the guest Minister made a tour at the Cardiovascular Surgery and Oncology Hospitals and Radiology department.
Following her visit to the hospital, Minister Pintea held a meeting with her Turkish counterpart Fahrettin Koca. Impressed by the developments in Turkey in the field of health, the guest Minister talked about a similar but small-scale hospital project in Costanza which will be built with PPP model, and for which they want to benefit from the experiences of Turkey in this area. The process is ongoing for construction of a hospital in Costanza, Romania with PPP model under coordination of the Turkish Ministry of Health based on an agreement planned to be signed in June 2019.
On the other hand, Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said that Turkey is always ready for cooperation in the field of health, and it is important to further develop the relations with concrete steps.
