The first patient who underwent bone marrow transplantation in the Stem Cell Transplantation Unit established at Konya City Hospital was discharged as healthy. Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca also shared about the issue on his social media account.

Konya City Hospital, which has continued to break new ground in the field of health since the day it was opened, has added a new one to its special treatment services. The 'Bone Marrow Transplant Center', of which license procedures were approved by the Ministry of Health in the past months, started to serve within the hospital.

The first patient who underwent bone marrow transplantation in the Stem Cell Transplantation Unit established at Konya City Hospital was discharged as healthy.

Transplants are performed for patients with leukemia and lymphoma

Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca, who shared about the issue on his social media account, said: “The first patient who underwent bone marrow transplantation in the newly established Stem Cell Transplantation Unit at Konya City Hospital was discharged as healthy. Transplants are performed for the patients with leukemia and lymphoma in the unit. Patients had to go to other cities before.”
