President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met with healthcare workers along with the Minister of Health Dr. Fahrettin Koca at fast-breaking dinner.
President Erdoğan went from Vahdettin Mansion in Çengelköy to Uskudar District Directorate of Health.
Here, Erdoğan broke fast with the Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca.
President Erdoğan told reporters after the fast-breaking dinner that many people, including doctors and nurses, had lost their lives during the pandemic, and continued:
"During the pandemic, they have not given up. They have worked tirelessly in hospitals and at home. Of course, some of them have gotten infected, but they continued working regardless. To those who have lost their lives, may they rest in peace. For those who are fighting the virus right now, I wish a speedy recovery. Of course, there is one thing that needs to be said clearly. Thank Allah for all of them. For all their work and sacrifice."
