	2008 AWARDS OF WORLD NO TOBACCO DAY On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, Prof. Dr. Recep Akdağ, Minister of Health, is awarded for his contributions to activities against tobacco.
	WHO MINISTERIAL CONFERENCE ON HEALTH SYSTEMS (25-27 June 2008, Tallinn-Estonia) World Health Organization Regional Office for Europe organizes the WHO European Ministerial Conference once in every two years which convenes the Health Ministers and other senior policy and decision makers of the Member States of the European Region.
	Visit of H.E Dr.Abdulkarim Yehia Rasae, Minister of Health and Population of Yemen to Turkey (15-19 June 2008) Between 15-19 June 2008, upon the invitation of H.E. Minister Prof. Dr. Recep Akdağ, H.E. Dr. Abdulkarim Yehia Rasae, Minister of Health and Population of Yemen, and his accompanying delegation visited Turkey in order to discuss cooperation issues in the field of health and to determine future activities and to make some observations at some health institutions.
