Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca celebrated the 1st anniversary of Ankara Etlik City Hospital, which has served more than 5 million patients since the day it was opened. Minister Koca shared a video on his social media account about the services offered at Etlik City Hospital, which was opened 1 year ago with a ceremony attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Koca stated on his post that Etlik City Hospital completed 1st year of service. According to the information in the video by Minister Koca, Etlik City Hospital has received 5 million 16 thousand 501 patient applications to date. While 118 thousand 32 patients were treated as inpatients, 81 thousand 809 surgeries were performed in the hospital, and 39 patients were transferred to the hospital by air ambulance. While a total of 20 thousand 533 earthquake victims were treated at the hospital, prosthetics were applied to 54 earthquake victims. 3,455 sessions of hyperbaric oxygen therapy, 143 robotic surgeries, 33 bone marrow transplants, and 6,939 coronary angiography operations are among the services offered by the hospital in the 1-year period.
