In the ward, there were 19 patients. 7 patients died on scene. 1 patient died during the transportation of 11 patients and 1 died at the hospital 4.5 hours later. 10 patients have been transferred to neighboring hospitals where they are receiving intensive care. I would like to extend my condolences to the families of the deceased and wish a speedy recovery for the injured."

Minister Koca continued, "16 staff have also been affected by the fire. 7 of them are being closely monitored at the intensive care. We have paid them a visit. It is possible that they will complete their treatment be transferred to the ward.
