President Erdoğan attended the TEKNOFEST Istanbul Aviation, Space and Technology Festival which was held in Atatürk Airport.
Minister of Health Fahrettin Koca, Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Varank, Minister of National Defense Hulusi Akar, Minister of Interior Süleyman Soylu, Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk, Minister of Treasury and Finance Berat Albayrak, Minister of Family, Labor and Social Services Zehra Zümrüt Selçuk, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Bekir Pakdemirli, Minister of Transport Cahit Turhan and Governor of Istanbul Ali Yerlikaya accompanies President Erdoğan.
“Last year, we called to the Turkish scientists abroad to come back to Turkey and work here, which was responded positively. Turkish and also foreign academicians working at the leading universities and research centers got back to our call. Those who come to Turkey under the Leader Researchers Program will set a very good example for the young. I am sincerely convinced that it will be an even bigger festival next year. Over 500 thousands people visited TEKNOFEST as of Tuesday, which is way more than last year. We target to reach 1 million” said President Erdoğan in his speech.

Ministry of Health exhibited road and air ambulances as well as the information technologies at the TEKNOFEST.
In addition to the ambulance plane and helicopter; 4x4 scout car of the National Medical Rescue Team (UMKE), heavy service-type ambulance, drone and communication devices with advanced technology were also available at the stand of the Health Ministry. Representatives of the Health Ministry also provided information about e-Pulse, Health Statistics and Causal Analysis (SİNA), Tele-medicine and e-Report.
